ALTHEA PILLS REVIEW!
HEY GUYS!
This is my first post of the year, and today I'm gonna be doing another review of a product I ma currently using now to end my battle against acne. So a short recap again, ugh...never mind! Just so you know I have been struggling with acne since college until now and throughout my entire journey, NOTHING WORKED, NOBODY WAS ABLE TO HELP, AND GIVING UP IS ALWAYS AN OPTION! You know that feeling of ugliness inside and out. And expenses keep piling up as your face keeps getting worse as well. No words could ever express how difficult depression is. But then again, I took an extra risk and decided to end this once and for all! So let's get started!
Probably, you all heard about hormonal imbalance and how it is a great factor in acne-causing bacteria and endless nightmares. So yes, I have hormonal imbalance and that's one reason why my acne would not stop haunting me and in order to control it, one must know how to balance the hormones in the body and one way to do so is by taking pills...as in BIRTH CONTROL PILLS!
I was hesitant at first to try this product because of its effects in the long run like infertility and anything negative about producing an offspring and I don't want that to happen to me but because I'm already very desperate to bring back my life and my confidence, I'm more than willing to put my life on the line just to achieve the glow that I've always been longing for.

I started taking the pills July 2, 2017, and I already consumed 7 boxes of Althea pills. So by now, I'm already at my 7th month this February, and so far so good! I can't believe how much my face have changed after all the money I've spent fixing it, never thought only a small pearl could beat all odds! And that I look SO MUCH BETTER THAN BEFORE! My body was able to adapt to the changes in my hormones and managed to be in control that's why I'm getting less pimples every month but my acne left so many scars on my face. Nevertheless, IT WAS WORTH TRYING!
No wonder these pills are called "beauty pills" because of how it gives you the glow you've always wanted!
HOW TO TAKE IT?
Every pill has a specific day. It's a 21pill treatment so consume everything within 21 days and take the first pill on the 1st day of your period. And I usually take it at the same time everyday at 9pm. And after consuming all 21 pills in 21 days, there is a 7-day pill break, so do not take any pills for 7days then afterwhich, you can start on your second box.
TAKE NOTE: One box is not enough to show it's magic. Be patient and trust in the process! :)

Hi , Is it okay to take althea without consulting the doctor ?

DeleteHi, is it okay to drink a gluta lipo juice when taking althea pills? I'm taking the pills every night at around 7pm.

Hi. I dunno anything about the juice but i think its ok? I'm not sure coz' i always drink water with my pills. But as long as you swallow it whole and will not vomit or defecate the pill, then i guess any liquid will do.

ReplyDeleteHi. You can take the pills anytime you want. Sa gabi ko lng siya tinitake kase minsan nakakalimutan ko magtake sa umaga sa subrang busy. And d pwede mamiss ng isa pag nagapills ikaw kase malelessen ung effect nya. Kaya sa gabi d masyadu busy and nagaalarm ako 9pm everynight. Kaya depende sayu kung anu gusto mo time, ung d mo nakakalimutan. ^^

DeleteYes po. Khit hindi po sunday you can start taking it sa 1st day ng period mo. Then 21 tablets yun for 21 days, pag naubos mo na ung 21 tablets na un, may 7days na pill break. After that 7days pill break, you can start another pack of 21tablets again whether you are or aren't on your period.

Pero kung gagamitin mo naman sya as pampaganda, you can take it anytime.. Inaadvice lang ng ibang nakagamit na ng althea na sa 1st day ng period itake kasi para daw less ung side effects..

DeleteKung nagaalangan ka sis antayin mo nlng ung first day ng period mo at kung anong day man un nagstart, buksan mo ung pill na specific day nagstart ng period mo para d ikaw maconfuse. Anyway, pagtapus mo maconsume lahat in 21days...whether may period kapa or wala na, u have to start immediately with the next box and so on. :)
@hazel yes sis. Tama ka. An dn sabi ng ob ko. Pero mas better daw talaga kung first day of period mo for less side effects and better results.
DeleteNatetempt din tuloy ako magtake na ngaun ng 1st pill ko haha. Gagamit din kc tlga ako ng althea ngaun for may acne tlga haha. Althou hindi naman na eto ung 1st time na nagtake ako ng pills. Last year nagpills na din ako for pimples din, and I think naka 3packs lang ako then tinigil ko na kc nagstop na pimples ko. Kaso ngaun eto bumalik sila, mas malala pa ngaun dhil acne na tlga. At sobrang desperate na ako na mawala sila. Baka magtry na ako magtake later 😁

ReplyDeleteYou can start naman anytime u want sis. Pero sa iba lng talaga and also me, sa first day of period mas better itake daw. You can start ur first pill now sis, just open the friday pill from topleft and so on :)

DeleteMababaguhan pa yan body mo kung first time mo mag pills. First time ko nun is nagdiarrhea ako on my first pill. Pero after nun...wala na. Nahiyang na ako pati ung acne ko totally wala na. Pero make sure d mo isusuka or itatae ung pill kase considered as miss pill na un.

ReplyDeleteHi. Yes sis. After mo mag take ng 1st pack mo, kelangan mo mag rest ng 7 days kase yan ang days ng mens mo. Kung tuloy tuloy mo siyang itake, hnd ka magkakaroon ng period or either madedelay ng ilang months ung period mo...so u need to rest sa 7 days po. Then start your next box after 7 days.

Always follow ikaw sa day kung ano ung exact day dn ngaun sis. For your mens, usually mag arrive yan 4-5 days sa 7 day pill break mo. And nadelay parin siya after 7 days pill break...kung may bf ka and you know na, you should try to check it for sure. If not, there are a lot of factors na madelay ung period like stress or maybe physical. Just to make sure, ask your OB about it. Or check yourself out.

ReplyDeleteYes. Pwede dn un isang factor na nagchange ka ng brand. Maninibago pa ung body mo uli sa changes. Just wait for it sis. Kung wala talaga, in rare cases, kahit d ka nagskip ng pag-inom, you actually still have a chance to be preggy.

ReplyDeleteHi! Yes mawawala ung pimples/acne mo pag tuloy2 ikaw nagtake. And yes pagnaghiyang sayu, medyo tataba ka konti like me pero konti lng naman. Hehe. And its safe too. Just take at the same time everyday for 21 days. Wag mo isuka or ipopo and never EVER miss a single pill! You'll be okay for sure. :)

Is it okey iF i start taking the pill even if it is NOT Sunday then 2weeks ago na natapos period ko? Almost two yearS den ako sa lady. Marami kasing mgndng feedbacks about this pill. Ok lang ba d naman ako frst timer. Hehe.

Kahit Monday pwede pero make sure to open the mon pill from top left para iwas confusion kung anong day na ngaun . And take your first pill sa first day of your mens or whatever day it will start. Kung mon, open mon pill. After consuming 21 pills in 21 days, may 7-day pill break yan kaya rest ka muna for 7 days, then after 7 days, start your next pack and so on. :)

ReplyDeleteHi. It depends sis sa capacity ng reproductive system mo kung makakahold ba siya ng buhay na sperm. With pills, pinapanipis ung uterus natin para d makabuo. It's safe somehow, pero it depends sa body natin sis. So its better to practice withdrawal or wear use protection.

ReplyDeleteHi. I have the same experience with you po. Natry kona po lahat pero waley. Its super worth it to try althea po. Halos matabunan na buong mukha ko ng acne nuon but after trying althea po, kuminis ung mukha ko na parang walang nangyareng acne. You should try it po and see it for yourself! :)

DeleteSame case here. Nagka acne breakout din ako ngaun. I just finished my 1st pack yesterday and I'm in my 7days pill break. Accdg sa nabasa ko dito, it would take 2 to 3 packs bago daw makita ung effect ng pills sa acne breakouts ntin. Kaya ngaun, I'm patiently taking Althea pills with hopes na makatulong syang mawala etong mga malalaking pimples ko sa noo at chin ko.

DeleteI'm 29 now. Actually hindi ko na 1st time nagtake ng pills. Last year nagtake na din ako pero naka 3packs lang ako dhil nagpimples din ako last year, then after that 3packs I stopped. Kaso ngaun nag recurring etong pimples ko or should I say acne (cystic type din) at ang masaklap eh mas malala kesa sa last year. Kaya nagtake ako uli ng pills ngaun. If your are going to start taking this pill, mas better huntayin mo muna ung next period mo then at the 1st day of your period you can take your 1st pill. Ang effect skin na naobserve ko ay ung headache and mild breast tenderness, pero bukod sa dalawa na yan ay wala naman na akong ibang naramdaman. Cguro kaya din ako nakaramdam ng side effects ay dhil hindi ko hinintay ung period ko. I took my 1st pill 2days before my period came. I was so desperate to start taking this pill para magstart na sanang magtake effect sa acne ko. So if I were you, you better wait for your period para daw less side effects.

Take ur first pill on the first day of ur period. Cosume all 21pills in 21 days. After that rest for 7days. Then start ur new pack after. Yes. The pill can protect you from getting pregnant if u take it correctly at the same time everyday and never miss a pill. Goodluck!^^
DeleteHi! Ung first day ng mens ko parang around 11pm na ng gabi (konti lang parang spotting lang) so i decided mag take ng pill the following day 11pm, 1st time ko po gumamit ng Althea. We had sex after 3 days, since sobrang konti lang ako mag mens usually 3-4 days lang talaga sya tumatagal. Pero continouis yung pag inom ko ng pills. Possible po ba kong mabuntis non?

DeleteHi po im just 15 po and i have acne rin po. Ni recommend po ng ob ko na mag try ng althea pills para maka tulong sa aking irregular period at acne. Epektibo po ba talaga sa acne po at nababalik po ba talaga sa regular blood cycle ? Nakaka down po kasi ng confidence pag may acne

ReplyDeleteHI. Start taking the pills on the first day of ur mens. Pero kung dinudugo kapa after panganak, pwede ka dn magstart magtake ng pills kahit hind Sunday. Kung anong day ikaw magstart, un ung pill na ioopen mo po. Kung Monday, open monday pill, kung tuesday, open tuesday pill and so on. Start from topleft po. After consuming all 21 pills, rest for 7 days then start ur new pack.

Hi. Its better to follow what pills ur doctor advised you. Yes. You can finish the whole pack first then switch to another brand. Talk to ur doctor about it coz' switching brands may have side effects like what u have experienced.

ReplyDeleteHi. Normal lng po yan sis since nag.aadjust pa po body naten. Hnd naman po agad2 ung effect po. Magihing worst muna bago tuluyang magheal at malessen ung pimples po. I had the same experience on my 2nd pack na feeling ko d gumagana pero after 3-6 packs, dun mo na makikita ung difference.

ReplyDeleteHi. Its better to take po althea pills sa start ng mens po natin kase nagiging abnormal kase ang hormones ng mga babae pag may mens at lalo na ung mga cases na may irregular periods. So abnormal hormones causes abnormal acne or pimple breakouts. And ang pills kase nagwowork yan para macontrol ung hormones natin sa body lalo na sa start ng period naten, mas malelessen nya ung ating pimples and nakakahelp dn magparegular ng ating period po. So althea pills can help to stop pimples/acne and can help also to make our periods regular and no more stress sis.

ReplyDeleteHi. I'm not sure sis since wala naman ako experience pa jan. Do your research sis kung safe ba kase baka makaaffect sa supply ng milk mo or something like that if you take pills. Ask your doctor for more advice. :)

ReplyDeleteHi. Yes sis. Ganun talaga yan sa first trial at first pack. Nag-aadjust pa kase body natin sa changes ng hormones natin. I have the same reaction dn na parang walang effect, na mas dumadami tuloy. imbes gumaling. Hnd naman po madaliang effect yang althea po. It takes time po. After 2-3 packs or around 2-3 months up to 6 months, dun mo na makikita ung difference sis. :)

DeleteHello sis. Currently im using diane35 im almost finish with the 2nd box mga parang 5pills nlng natira. And yes medyo di na tinubuan ng pimples noo ko. Pero jawline and chin grabe pa rin. Ok lng kaya sa next na pills ko magshift ako sa althea? I've read kasi na mas effective ang pills if combined hormones ng progesterone and estrogen. And Yasmin pills has these two combined hormones pero sobrang mahal ng yasmin its like 1000 per box.

ReplyDeleteHI. No. After pooping the first pill, hnd na ako uminom uli ng another pill kahit considered as missed pill na siya. Next day pill na sis. Unless na nakalimutan kong uminom ng pill ngaun, so dalawang pill iinumin ko kinabukasan.

ReplyDeleteHi. I don't know if may fake na althea coz' i always buy it at the pharmacy. In your pimples case, its either d ka hiyang sa pills or baka it'll take more months bago mo makita effect ng pill. Usually naglalabasan muna mga big pimples bago gumaling at mawala eh. Observe muna sis till' 6th month. Kung waley parin, better change pills to avoid more pimples.

ReplyDeleteHi. Iba iba kase body ng tao sis and baka yan ung effect ng pills sayu ang pagpayat. D namn ako pumayat, nagkalaman pa nga ng konti. I can't recommend any other pills since only althea pill lng ang nagamit ko and i dunno kung ano effect ng ibang pills. Better ask for professional help. And yes, new pill means new adjustments na naman.

DeleteHi. Yes. Still safe. And if ever nakalimutan mo uminom ng pill ngaun, dapat dalawang pill kinabukasan inumin mo- pd ang isa sa umaga and ang isa sa usual time na iniinum mo ang pill. And also, in rare cases, one miss pill could lead to unwanted pregnancy so always be consistent sa time ng pills po.

DeleteIt is my 7th day sa Althea nung 3rd day palang sobrang nagsilabasan yung cystic acne ko and now pati sa mga lugar na di tinutubuan dati. I tried diane dati kasi mas mahal took quite some time bago mageffect. Kaso ang kati ng katawan ko dito sa Althea and mas madaming breakout compared nung simula ko sa Diane35. Normal lang ba toh? Mawawala din ba? Thanks :X
ReplyDeleteHI. I had the same reaction po when i started taking Althea din. Naglalabasan lahat ng pimples as in lahat talaga so i thought at first na baka d siya effective. It took almost a month na sobrang panget ko but then I continued it and It was worth trying for me. Nagclear na ung face ko, naglighten scars ko, naregular period ko, and less pimples during red days. So its quite effective sakin. I'm not sure sa diane35 coz' i had never tried it. Hiyangan lang po talaga ang pills.

ReplyDeleteHi. Safe naman po makipagcontact even on pill-break po as long as you are taking your active pills properly, with no missed pills so you will be protected all the time. Depende sau sis. Kase sa 7 days pill-break, yan ung days na lalabas ung mens...so it depends kung comfortable ka to do it, or not. ^^

ReplyDeleteHi. I'm not sure about chest pain sis but breast pain or breast tenderness lng nafeel ko nun na side effect and its normal. The headaches are normal too dahil yan sa pagaadjust ng hormones sa body natin. But if feel mo nakakasama sya sayu, stop it. Im not a doctor, i can only advice based on my experiences.

ReplyDeleteHi. I think its normal po. They said spotting daw or withdrawal tawag dun. Yan kase ung side effect ng pill eh. Kung akala mo meron pero nawala naman pala. Nagiging mas lighter daw ung periods once nag pills. So i guess its normal. Iba iba kase tayu ng body kaya pills react differently.
